Joe Miller Froneberger Sr. passed away September 12th, 2017 after a valiant struggle through illness. He was born October 22nd, 1934 to D. Everette Froneberger and Rena Hoyle Froneberger in Charlotte, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, and also by his brother Ray Froneberger.
He is survived by Rebecca Hill Froneberger who was his loving wife and partner of 62 years, and their son, Joe M. Froneberger, Jr.; and by his sister, Jean Green. He is also survived by his two very special grandsons, Joe III ("Joey") and his husband Wayne of...

Joe Miller Froneberger Sr. passed away September 12th, 2017 after a valiant struggle through illness. He was born October 22nd, 1934 to D. Everette Froneberger and Rena Hoyle Froneberger in Charlotte, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, and also by his brother Ray Froneberger.
He is survived by Rebecca Hill Froneberger who was his loving wife and partner of 62 years, and their son, Joe M. Froneberger, Jr.; and by his sister, Jean Green. He is also survived by his two very special grandsons, Joe III ("Joey") and his husband Wayne of Charleston, SC and Michael and his wife Taylor, of Asheville, NC.
Joe was employed with the United States Postal Service in Charlotte for 36 years. He enjoyed retirement very much, tending his beautiful garden and yard under the close supervision of his canine companion, Scarlett.
A visitation with the family will be held on Friday, September 15th from 1 until 2 o'clock in the afternoon, immediately after which will follow the Service of Christian Burial, both taking place at Dulin's Grove Advent Christian Church in Mint Hill, NC. Interment to be held privately after the service.
