Marian McCray Lyon, 76, of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017 in Mint Hill, North Carolina surrounded by her husband and family.

Marian was born in Pageland, South Carolina to Mr. Heath McCray and Mrs. Ethel L. McCray on March 27, 1941. She married, Wiley Logan Lyon Jr. on November 11, 1983 in Charlotte, North Carolina. She attended Business School in Charlotte, where she went on to become a purchasing agent and fulfill an honorable reputation at the City of Charlotte. Marian McCray Lyon, 76, of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017 in Mint Hill, North Carolina surrounded by her husband and family.

Marian was born in Pageland, South Carolina to Mr. Heath McCray and Mrs. Ethel L. McCray on March 27, 1941. She married, Wiley Logan Lyon Jr. on November 11, 1983 in Charlotte, North Carolina. She attended Business School in Charlotte, where she went on to become a purchasing agent and fulfill an honorable reputation at the City of Charlotte. She was preceded in death by her late mother, Ethel L. McCray, her father Heath McCray, her eldest siblings, Harvey McCray, Mildred M. Baker, and Tommy McCray of Pageland, South Carolina.

She is survived by her husband, Wiley Logan Lyon Junior, her three children, Noel K. Maness, Teresa K. Randall (Kelly), and Christopher L. Kelly of Charlotte, North Carolina. She has 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two remaining siblings, Robert McCray and Bobbie M. Baker.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at McEwen Funeral Home in Mint Hill, North Carolina. Visitation will commence at 1:00 p.m. and her funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the afternoon.

The family would like Marian to be remembered by her giving nature and the love she provided to those around her.
